For a $36 New York strip I expect it to at least be seasoned well. Entrees are overpriced and service is nothing special.
This restaurant was close for us when we got stuck overnight in DFW due to weather (we stayed at another hotel across the street). Having spent a number of days at Marriott hotels for work, the food was very good as expected. Our burgers were cooked just right, and the portions were a good size.
51 dollar charge for two doubles. Charged order to my room instead of my card I gave them.
I’m an SPG Gold Member and received complimentary breakfast tickets. I used them on June 16, 2018 and charged a $5 tip to my room. I came to find out that despite using the complimentary tickets, Blue Fire Grill still charged me for the breakfast!
This place had some pretty bad reviews on YELP, I decided to give it a shot anyways, I was not disappointed, Food was great, service was a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't really matter to me.
Service was nice. Had a lovely server. Food was awful. Server felt bad, manager didn't even feel the need to come out to say one word to us.
Just so everyone knows they actually close at 10:45 for food and 11pm for drinks.
Very fine food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were top rate, truly professional. I felt very well taken care of.
Margherita flatbread and Apple crisp!!
Go see Ms. Chaffee! Superb service! My sister and I were killing time with my brother before our flights and we received attentive & informative but not intrusive service from Chaffee. She made great bar & food suggestions for us, which were delicious cabernets for me and brisket nachos for us to share. I've always enjoyed this Westin and Chaffee made it a joy during an anxious time (long travel day). Worth the stop!!
While eating at this restaurant( In the Westin Hotel) I ordered the ladle of the day potato soup which my first spoonful was delicious! The second spoonful I notice something unusual underneath but couldn't tell however I assumed it to be garnish so into my mouth it went....only to discover it was the whole tip of the first joint of a rubber glove from someone in the kitchen! It was disgusting!!! I could only imagine where else the tip of that glove had been! The Manager Shelley Lambert said she apologized and took pictures to show the kitchen morning shift team because that's who made it and she threw away the whole pit of soup...imagine that. However offered to do nothing but apologize. The bartender did offer to comp me on the dirty martini which I think was very nice sune the manager did nothing. Rubber gloves were not on the menu...
Waited ten minutes for someone to see me to seat me after 3 of the wait staff walked by. Another table came in ten minutes after I got seated. Everyone received they're food at the same time about twenty minutes later.
I’ll say this ..... I’m a flight attendant and have had more meals in restaurants than the average person has had in a lifetime . I had the best steak ever from this restaurant . It was better than any steakhouse I’ve ordered from . I hope I can post a photo because I DID take one it was so beautiful . Definitely enough for two people but somehow I choked every morsel of it down . Five stars all the way !
There are limited restaurants in the area near the Westin (unless you drive to Las Colinas), so after a long day of travel/work, the Blue Fire Grille is my top choice for convenience and overall experience. It has a nice menu at reasonable prices (for a hotel) and the staff are attentive and accommodating.
Great food
